Ariana is a new variety, released 2016 from the German hop development program. Aroma of blackberries, blackcurrants, peach, tropical fruit and resin.
Suitable for beer styles where you want a clear fruitiness, eg. APA and IPA. Also nice in modern lagers and saisons.
Ariana is a cross between Herkules and a wild hop. Selected for its modern qualities with the idea to be able to compete with American and New Zealand varieties.
